I am delighted to share some fantastic news about our Young Enterprise team, Re-Pawposed.
Since September, the team have worked incredibly hard developing their business idea, and today they represented the school at the Greater Manchester Showcase. Throughout the day, students were required to set up and manage their trade stand, interact with judges and other teams, take part in a group interview about the running of their business, and deliver a four-minute presentation to an audience of over 100 people.
Although understandably nervous, the students rose to every challenge and were an absolute credit to the school. Impressively, they were the youngest team attending the event and competed against some very strong opposition.
We are incredibly proud to announce that they returned with not one, but two awards:
- Best Trade Stand
- Competition Winners
Winning the overall competition means that Re-Pawposed have now progressed to the Northwest Finals, which will take place next Friday, 15th May.
This is a remarkable achievement and reflects the students’ dedication, teamwork, professionalism and resilience throughout the entire process. They have represented the school superbly and should be extremely proud of what they have accomplished already.
Please join me in congratulating the team and wishing them the very best of luck for next week’s finals. They have already shown what they are capable of, and we are all hopeful they can continue their success and progress to the UK Finals.
Well done to everyone involved!
