Parent Voice

Parent Voice

At Cansfield High School the views and opinions of our parents really matter. We recognise that the most effective way to teach and engage with our students is in partnership with parents.

Previously, the Headteacher and members of the Senior Leadership Team have met with parents to share updates on the school and plans for the next stage of the school’s development, along with opportunities for parents to give their views about the shape of the curriculum and the longer term plans for the school. This feedback was then analysed and has been assimilated into our priority areas moving forward.  We hold regular engagement evenings which are attended by the Leadership team and Heads of Faculty to focus on elements of our school such as Knowledge Organiser usage, revision, mental health and well-being. There are also Careers Events throughout the year.

Parents and carers are encouraged to visit the school when in operation and take a tour led by the Headteacher so they can see how the school functions on a day to day basis.

If you  have any specific feedback you would like to share please feel free to contact Mrs. Daniels on
