Cansfield was invited to present at the National Pupil Premium Conference at the NEC Birmingham – 23rd March 2018

Cansfield was invited to present at the National Pupil Premium Conference at the NEC Birmingham last Friday. The aim such an event is to share good practice and gain a deeper insight into the national agenda of ensuring successful outcomes for students who come under the Pupil Premium Grant Funding. We shared our 18 month journey of improvement and gave an insight into the successes, challenges and plans moving forward as all schools look to reduce Gaps in achievement, attendance and progress for pupil premium students to ensure that social deprivation can never be a reason for underperformance. We will continue to be passionate, reflective and collaborative  in ensuring the best possible achievement for all students. It is also testament to the hard work from all staff here at Cansfield and the continuing support from every member of our Cansfield community.
